Community Guidelines — Swipe Up

At Swipe Up, love, friendship, and emotional healing thrive in a safe, supportive, and respectful environment.

Below are the Community Guidelines for accessing and usage of Swipe UP App, Website and related platforms and services. These Community Guidelines (“Guidelines”) are intended to protect every user.

By accessing and/or using Swipe Up, you agree to follow these Guidelines, our terms and conditions to access and use the services of Swipe Up (“Terms & Conditions”), and our policy with respect to data privacy (“Privacy Policy”).

Your non-compliances to the Guidelines, Terms & Conditions and/or Privacy Policy may result in warnings, moderation actions, temporary restrictions and or permanent ban on your usage or your access to Swipe Up.

1. Eligibility

You are an individual with age 18 years or above; and
You are competent to contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.

2. Respect & Consent

You shall treat your fellow Swipe Up users [“User(s)”] with empathy, maturity, and respect.
While interacting with a User, you shall always seek clear, enthusiastic, and ongoing consent from the said User.
You shall stop your interaction/activities with and involving the User who has not given a consent explicitly for the said interaction/activities. “No” or silence means from the User means “no consent” and you shall stop immediately your interaction/activities and/or involvement with such User.
You shall not harass, bully, stalk, mis-lead, manipulate, intimidate, exploit either emotionally or otherwise and / or threat the Users with whom you get to interact and meet through Swipe Up platform.
You shall not do any such acts so as to discriminate any User based on the said User’s gender, identity, orientation, caste, religion, ability, or background and shall not involve in any kind of hate speeches or public arguments.

3. Authenticity & Honesty

You shall provide your personal details like age, photos and other required information accurately.
You shall not do any kind of catfishing and/or impersonate another individual.
You shall not upload or share photos of any minor person in photos (even in the background).
You shall not create multiple user accounts and shall not share or sell your account to another person or permit usage of your account by any other person.
You shall not use Swipe Up App, website or other platforms for advertising, promotions, soliciting money, financial scams and/or phishing.

4. Emotional & Personal Safety

You understand and agree that the AI Healing Companion provided by Swipe Up platforms are only for empathetic conversation and is not intended to be or capable of any therapeutic or medical advice and shall not rely on the said AI Healing Companion for crisis or emergency situations.
In distress, you shall contact professionals.
You shall report to us in case you notice any harmful behaviour from another User and you may block the said User from interacting with you.

5. Privacy & Content Standards

We do not recommend you to share sensitive personal information publicly (address, financial info, passwords). If you did so, it shall be at your own risk and we shall not be responsible for any fraudulent, harmful, destructive and the like outcomes arising out of sharing such personal information publicly.
You shall not upload and/or share nude, sexually explicit, pornographic content or material, violent, self-harm encouragement gore etc., and any other illegal content and shall not solicit any kind of sexual services using Swipe Up services or platforms.
We have zero tolerance for child exploitation. If any such practices are notice by us your account will be permanently banned and your such activities shall be reported to law enforcement authorities.
You shall not share screenshots, recordings, messages, or profiles to other User(s) unless you obtain explicit consent from the said User(s).
You shall not upload or share any copyrighted or stolen images using our App and other platforms.

6. Inclusivity & Healthy Interactions

Swipe Up welcomes everyone without any restriction on sexual orientation such as LGBTQIA+, cis, trans, nonbinary, poly, and all identities.
You shall be respectful with other Users and shall abstain from activities like body-shaming, slut-shaming, kink-shaming etc.
You shall not give any degrading comments and shall not indulge in trolling, spamming, or any kind of disruptive behaviour.
You shall keep your interactions meaningful and relevant to connection.

7. Real-World Safety

If you choose to meet someone offline we recommend that you:

Meet in public, well-lit areas.
Share your plans with a trusted friend.
Keep your valuables protected.
Trust your instincts and leave if uncomfortable.

Our interactions or meetings with a User out of Swipe Up platforms shall be at your own risk and we shall not be responsible for the outcomes any such interactions or meetings.

8. Misuse of Platform & Reporting Tools

You shall not use our reporting tools to attack or target User(s) fraudulently, unfairly and/or for any personal vendetta.
False reporting may lead to restrictions of your further usage of our platforms.
You shall not use any bots, automation, scraping, or reverse-engineering tools while accessing our platform.
You shall abstain from all activities which manipulate the algorithm and/or shall not engage in mass-liking/automated swiping.

9. Moderation & Enforcement

You understand and note that:

We use AI, automated safety systems, and human moderators to detect violations.
Any violations (e.g., child safety, threats, blackmail) to this Guidelines, Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy shall be reported to Indian law enforcement agencies as applicable.
We shall respond to your non-compliance reports between 24 to 72 hours.
If you believe the content moderation done by us is incorrect, please write to theswipeupapp@gmail.com.
We shall remove all inactive accounts (no login for 30 days) or as per the relevant Indian legislative mandates.
Our operations and activities are only governed by Indian laws. By access / usage of Swipe Up, you explicitly agree to abide by all the relevant Indian laws and agree to forego your rights, if any, under any other country’s laws and regulations.

10. Updates to These Guidelines

We may update these Guidelines from time to time. You will be notified any such updates via app or your registered email. Your continued use of Swipe Up shall be considered as your explicit agreement to comply with the updated Guidelines.
